I will be going to see it this Thursday, along with Kill Bill.

Emanon/Total: Too true. The more you watch it, the more you take out of it. Also, the Animatrix, and the game Enter The Matrix help expand the story a great deal. Unfortunatly the game was no where near as phenominal as it was billed to be, but the cool Matrix story was still there, and it helped flesh out Reloaded a great deal with background plot. I had fun kicking the crap out of Trinity at least

I also think that watching Revolutions will help clear up a lot of Reloaded. The Matrix (first one) was a pure stand alone movie. It had a beginning and a quasy end. Reloaded/Revolutions is like Kill Bill. One movie, 2 parts, and it will make a lot more sense when viewed as a whole.

Muahahahahahaha. A co-worker's pseudo-boss rented out an entire theater for a 'private' showing on Wednesday at noon. And I'm invited since I happen to be in the Dallas area working on their beta site installation. Now if only I could forget ethics and ditch my electrician-baby-sitting job long enough to go... *cries*

Given the chance I love to go see these big releases on the first Thursday (e.g. LOR, Star Wars, etc) because all the die-hards go on Wednesday and everyone else waits for Friday. And I actually voted "not seeing it right away" because that would be my choice.

My only real problem with 2 was the completely superfluous sex scene that dragged on and on and on... It's OK if you're male I guess and get off to Moss, but Keanu is not that hot, especially dripping "sweat" and attempting to put emotion in his non-acting. I rather liked the plot and was amused to find the writers openly admitting that Morpheus was as religiously nutty as I found him in the first movie. The other thing that bothers me is Neo's random development of EMP powers in the "real world" at the end. Waiting for the layered matrix, Jesus Christ references, or other suitable explanation in 3...

I will go see it in the IMAX theater. First time a major release is being released simultaneously at the IMAX.
