Maybe some of you have seen this already, but a friend showed me this page: http://www.try2hack.nl/
It is a website where you try to "hack" to the next level, i haven't gotten very far.. me and my non leet ass hacking skills...

I hit that site many moons ago, as well as a few other similar ones. All they have as far as challenges go is defeating bad web programming practices. Unprotected files, relying on referer headers or easily-manipulated cookies, easy-to-guess filenames or passwords. Basic web-defacing junk. Not worth your time if you don't know it already, far too simple if you do. You're better off spending a few hours reading a Hacking Exposed book, or perhaps something with a more social angle like Mitnick's The Art of Deception. If you're more the sysadmin type, Firewalls and Internet Security is an absolute must-have for your bookshelf.
