how bad are the brown recluse problems up there? and why don't i see them in california (a dry place as well)?

They are here too, and you see one prety often (once a week or once every two weeks)

Not that bad though.. they would rather run away :P

oh alrite, cuz i keep seeing these recluse bites and daaaaaaamn they look scary. but when you say "they would rather run away," i'm assuming that biting is more of a defensive action rather than attacking right? (think rattlesnakes in california).
