Well, there are some benefits to being in the 7th. You get a disco ball and a vibrating bed when you join.

I thought the benefits were wife beater shirts and cutoff shorts!? Or is that what Bommando chooses to wear on his own?

The Santa Cruz Nomad mountain bike - the VPP suspension design is simply amazing.

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?

OMG! (again)

OK.. I know I already brought them up - but I gotta do it AGAIN. Between the Sheets just delivered an OUTSTANDING custom comforter to me. After my first experience I wrote a 'good job' e-mail that got the attention of the design director, she e-mailed me and in the course of a few e-mails, I expressed an idea for a comforter I was looking for but couldn't find.

My idea was simple, nothing special, but with BTS's resources.. it became AWESOME and they did a FANTASTIC job AGAIN! We mixed up materials in a way she said they hadn't done before, they tested the stitching, and verified any special care instructions for that mix of materials (notice I use 'materials' and not 'fabrics') and determined that no special care was required.

Anyway 5-stars to BTS - check out my pics and blog at www.myspace.com/p8riotone if you are interested - I'll have to add you but if you are TG, no problem - msg me if you have a username I won't recognize.

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?

I really haven't come across any particular item that has absolutely wowed me, then again my time as an independent consumer is pretty limited since I'm only 1.5 years out of college and still getting my finances in order...bars and gaming doesn't help. Anyways, I do have a couple of items and services I could suggest

Now I might of just grown out of it, but since I have switched to Dove: Sensitive Skin, roughly six years, I have been acne free. To top it off there is no scent so you are left smelling cleaning and nothing more. I use it as both a body bar and on my face.

Novacare Rehabilitation
Guess this really only works if you have one in your area and need to rehab an injury. I had ACL repair back in May 05 but because of my Dad's health insurance I was only covered in Massachuesetts but I needed to stay at Villanova because I was working/taking summer classes there. So any rehab I was going to do would be paid out of pocket. I talked to one of the Novacare clinics near Villanova and they helped me out and worked out a deal with me where I only paid for the stuff I could only get there (electro-stim + ice/heat, strength tests) while still getting the full work up. I was back running and moving around by the beginning of august and by October I was +90%. Now, of course, the quality of the surgeon's work plays a big role but without the proper rehab, any work done by a surgeon goes to waste. I came out of rehab stronger than I was before I tore my ACL. So not only did they help me out financially but they also did a terrific job getting me back.

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?

Oh, I've got a new energy drink addiction:

I lived in Japan for a year, and they're crazy about iced coffee. Next to every Coke and Pepsi machine, you'd also see a Georgia Coffee vending machine. I couldn't stand the stuff. It tasted just like iced coffee, but I just didn't like it. I never cared much for fresh iced coffee from a cafe, either. Well, this stuff is different. I don't know how, but it is. It might be a bit sweeter than most people prefer, but it's perfect for me.

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?

Time for the holidays guys! Start your wish-lists!

Here is one I brought up in another thread..

Crosman Pulse R74

Modeled after the MP5A3. Nice weight. Mine was accurate out of the box.. Very little of it is plastic- very solid.

That’s only at 30' but hell.. It's a 'Soft Air' and that is 10 consecutive rounds- It was also not in 'hopped-up' mode which is for longer range accuracy. For backyard fun and games.. it's nice. I 'accepted' two shots in the back and it didn't break skin but it STUNG and welted like CRAZY.

I'm going to take the power system to the engineers at work.. there might be some 'overclocking' potential - based on the battery info I have.

But don't forget to backtrack this thread a little bit - especially for you new guys, there is a lot of cool endorsement here.

Cing - it's the holidays again - don't forget the Pralus Pyramid chocolate sampler.. it a new year - new chocolate!

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?

If you really enjoy coffee then get this coffee maker.

It is the Keurig one cup coffee maker. My lovely wife bought it for my birthday and I have enjoyed it every single morning. Every cup is the "first cup" and tastes perfect. It takes individual coffee packets (18 packets cost about 10 dollars) or you can buy special adapter so you can brew your favorite blend.

The best thing is being able to brew a single cup in the middle of the day instead of a whole pot.

It would be cheaper to brew a whole pot of coffee and throw out what you don't drink! With coffee beans as cheap as they are, I don't understand why people even purchase ground coffee, much less teabags filled with coffee...

So, I guess my recommendation is to buy a coffee grinder and some whole beans of your choice. Fresher, cheaper, and more flavorful!

You know, I thought the same thing when my wife bought it for me a month ago. But you can use your own beans if you like. I like a nice dark Colombian and Ethiopian coffees so I have a variety of those beans.

The individual cup thing has turned out to be very nice.

Most of our guests and my wife don't like my taste in coffee. In addition many prefer tea. You can buy variety packs of both coffee and tea to satisfy them. And you can make the decaffeinated cup or two for those that want that. And for the kids there is hot chocolates you can buy.

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?

A good coffee mill (not a "grinder") is pretty expensive, but I've been pretty happy with this economy model from Cuisinart, the "DBM-8":
