Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?
Ok, now a serious post. I just bought a video iPod, and found this software to rip DVD movies. It takes a while to process, but I was able to rip the whole Band of Brothers DVD set in a night. Works great!

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?
I've been meaning to post about this ever since I noticed the PVA banner here at TG. I've already recommended Kershaw to anyone that's looking for a good pocket knife. Well, Kershaw's Ken Onion has teamed up with Strider Knives (you know, "Hardcore tools for hardcore individuals") and they're calling their collaboration Zero Tolerance Knives. Ken Onion is a god when it comes to knife design and his SpeedSafe assisted opening knives have taken the world by storm. Strider Knives is known for their no-nonsense, highly rugged knives. Even though I don't own one, I feel safe in recommending one of these knives to anyone looking for a "tactical" style pocket knife. They're not cheap, but good blades rarely are...
Oh, and proceeds from the sales of these knives are going to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. A worthy cause, to be sure.

I love the look of that speedsafe ranger green. I might pick up one of those.

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?
OK - ever since Kingsford went el cheapo on their charcoal, my grilling has just become hit or miss while I seeked out better alternatives - and just found none. Finally I decided to go for broke, change gears and go with ordering some lump charcoal from Wicked Good Charcoal and getting their Weekend Warrior blend.
![]() 44 pounds arrived last week in a box that had been turned into a cardboard bag by FedEx. I finally got to use it over the weekend and LOVE it. It is easier to light than the Competition blend, only needing 2 - 3 sheets of newspaper, and also lights easier that the old Kingsford briquets. Coals are ready after about 20 minutes, in high humidity conditions.. not bad. The flavor is wonderful.. very complex and unique on its own, and it also lends itself very well to being supplimented with a few large hunks of mesquite. So far we've done some prime New York Strips and some free range, grain fed chicken breasts on the Weber and I used the smoker to cook some large baked potatos for almost 3 hours - all of it was fantastic. Tuesday is going to be 5-7 pounds of fish on the smoker.. Good Stuff..

Rince's pizza got me thinking about whether or not I have everything to make one... And that reminded me of the genius that was involved in packaging and selling this: Melissa's Buy Produce Online Specialty Produce & Gift Basket *- Peeled Garlic

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?
Well close to being outside topic I'll put in my favourite(shaving gillette), not much to say about the product, however the place to get it dirt cheap is another issue:
CheapOTC.com

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?
I got the new LG Chocolate (VX8500) Phone from Verizon. It's so sweet and looks great too. The buttons are heat sensitive. It has a piano black finish and cool red lights. Flash interface. 2 Gigabyte SDmicro. Plays MP3 WMA MIDI. 1.3MP cam. Bluetooth. Well all the goodies
. Five starsPS: If you could palm a basketball really well then this phone might be to small for you but I read there comming out with a flip version .

Re: What product would you recommend to anyone?
OK.. CingD turn some of us on to WOOT.COM last week in another thread - I hadn't heard of it yet.
At the time, they were offering the eDimensional AudioFX headset.. ![]() ..for 25 bucks. I had some cash on hand and my current set is getting pretty worn. So I just flat out bought them.. no research.. nothing.. I didn't know they were Force Feedback.. nothing.. when I found out my first thought was- This is Feedback thing is going to be really hokey. The arrival of the product didn't help that impression.. the initial quality didn't come through, there were unfinished edges and little stuff like that. Anyhow - I try them last night.. WOW!! Just WOW! The Feedback is just right, the sound quality is crisp and sharp.. dimensional awareness is VERY good. I'd buy these again even at full price.
