Re: Bug bites...

I'll be buying one from you, no need for a freebie! I'm always looking for something that works better in this area, as I hate the smell of DEET with a passion...

As for your ad, it talks about nepetalactone, but it never actually states that the product you are selling contains that ingredient. Basically, the ad doesn't say anything about what the bidder would actually be bidding on. Next time you post the ad, I would write it so that it says very plainly that you're bidding on a 6oz/180ml spray bottle of insect repellant that has nepetalactone as the active ingredient. Your ad implies all of these things, but doesn't actually state it outright. It's so easy to commit fraud via eBay using vague language...

Not that I think that your ad is a fraud, just that it has the characteristics of an ad that is set up for fraud... Or maybe I'm just slow to trust people. I don't do eBay very often anyway, as I was burned two out of the first three times I used it...

Re: Bug bites...

Thanks for the ad feedback. I was wondering why the stuff sells so much IRL and not so much on ebay. Probably my bad advertising skills.

Here's the new ad.

Re: Bug bites...

That's much better than the original ad. Two things I might change, \

1: try and make the information about the scientific proof and it's link atleast the same size (or bigger) than the rest of the ad font wize. When you make it smaller, it makes people think subconciously that you don't want them to read it, because it reminds you when companies are throwing on warning and such on TV commercials in very small print.

2: I would also preface the link with something like View the scientific proof about the effectiveness of nepetalactone, the active ingrediant in whateverthehellyoucallthistuff, as an insect repellant at the following link to Science Daily Magazine (or newsletter or whatever classificaiton it gives itself.) That way you're outright stating what the active incrediant is. Whenever you're advertising, only be vague if you're trying to twist the meaning of something. Anytime you want people to know something, state it directly.
