Of course, there are always people like me who think it's insanely funny for about 15 seconds, and then promptly forget about it because we know that it is of no real importance.

And in response to Keres, I do not discriminate, I will laugh at/make fun of all religions equally!

And to really blow this out of proper purportion:

closest anti-bible t-shirt I could find, courtesy of t-shirt hell.

The first shirt was funny though.

well sorry it offends you, my god a tshirt on sale to the world as a joke,

there is also one on that site that says "i ****ed the olsen twins before they were famous" my gos that must mean anyone who finds it funny is a pedophile.

the motivation for posting the tshirt was humopur and for no other reason,

im not going to argue that the koran does or does not insight hatred, its not the issue, im sure every muslim is highly respectful of the bible at all times...

A T-Shirt that says something about the olson twins doesn't exactly piss on the graves of thousands of victims of terrorism quite like the infidel shirt though.

I'm reminded of a child who is scolded for saying something and then quickly pipes up "I was just joking!"

To quote my humbling SBM/SK post from earlier in the week, "the responsibility to cheer lies with the sender before the recipient."

OK, first of all, the title of this thread is "Politically incorrect Tshirt". To come in here after reading the subject and stating that the Tshirt is offensive to a certain group of people is, well, I guess redundant is the nicest word I can come up with...

And, Al, I would like to know how embracing your enemy's favorite description of you will in some way "piss on the graves of thousands of victims of terrorism". I just don't see it.

Bottom line is that terrorists have sent a message to me (as an American), labeled me an infidel, and have said that they're going to try to kill me. Well, if being an American makes me an infidel, then I'm proud to be one. If being a christian makes one an infidel in the terrorists' eyes, then I'm sure christians are proud to be one, too. Same for jews, Brits, atheists, moderate muslims and any number of other "infidel" groups...

Re: Politically incorrect Tshirt

Dudeman, you missed my message. The precedent of your behavior in this forum doesn't warrant my re-explaining it. You can PM me if you care to have it.

Cing, "embracing" something isn't what you appear to be doing when you wear that shirt. You appear to mock the claim that you're an infidel (as Dudeman submitted), not embrace it. Being American doesn't make you an infidel. Neither does wearing a t-shirt, thankfully.

The shirt is an arrogant provocation. I'm not worried about the twins. Jesus can take care of himself. The tribes just got screwed all the way around. I can stomach all that stuff.

I guess it's just harder to tolerate such selfishness in a shirt when men and women are coming home in bodybags at a rate greater than we can post JPGs of "harmless" shirts in a forum thread.

I guess that's it. People are dying for no reason other than the enemy's hatred of us and we're provocing the enemy with t-shirts.

Your offering a disclaimer that something is offensive (thread title) doesn't make any less valid someone else's decision to discuss it.

Wyz I think you have this post filled with a lot of opinions and fewer facts. While these posts offend you, others find them hilarious. If there's a violation of TG policy here, then Cing is certinaly capable of handling it in the thread he started. If you two need to discuss your difference of opinion offline, then you should do that.

I suggest that some of Dudeman's t-shirts have been links with warnings instead of images.

But just to recap to make sure I understand: if a t-shirt is offensive to victims of pedophilia, you don't care; if a t-shirt is offensive to Christians, you don't care; if a t-shirt is offensive to a race other than muslim, you don't care, but this one t-shirt is beyond the pale because.....what? You care too deeply about our armed services to see the joke?

If I were a Christian Native American Soldier I'd be scratching my head mightily over that one.

So could someone who finds the Christopher Reeve or the Tsunami t-shirt funny please explain the humor to me? I just fail to find the humor in a paraplegic or a disaster that killed ~300,000 people.

That's because you're a liberal. Only conservatives and christians are fair game for any charming joke, your name for example.
