That's what happens when beating your kids falls out of fashion.

Re: Kid goes crazy over chocolate milk playing RainBow Six 3

I'm not a politically correct parent. If one of my kids even *thinks* of talking to me like that, I will beat the ever-loving crap out of them. Fortunately, my 6 year old and 3 year old have been raised properly and would never think of acting like this kid.

<Now, parent mode off> Damn that was funny...."I want some motherf*****g chocolate milk!!!"

Re: Kid goes crazy over chocolate milk playing RainBow Six 3

Wow...

I'm not a parent yet (thank god), but had this been me, that kid would watch as i smashed his game, dismantled the pc, returned the console, or whatever.

I'm not gonna get into a debate about bad parenting or whatever, but there is no way in HELL that i would ever talk to my parents that way. Reason being, my parents weren't shy on laying the smackdown on me had I did 1/10th of what this brat did.

So you wanna play rainbow six? Great! Off to military school you go, son! Have a great time!

Re: Kid goes crazy over chocolate milk playing RainBow Six 3

First off that was the XBOX version. The mic is voice activated BUT you do have a mute button for the mic. A few games make for PTT, not sure about R6.

One of the first things I noticed was that the kid was yelling about it being a clan match but they were doing a lot of shooting at team mates. High quality clan

Simple case of poor parenting. Parents should not get into screaming matches with their kids. Once that happens and bacomes the norm than the parents are on level ground with the kids. Then stuff like that happens.

By the way, this is in no way related to the decline of social acceptance to corporal punishment.

You must have nice parents.. I wouldn't have lived to see my next birthday, much less my 30th, if I had behaved like that. Dad was in the Army, trained in martial arts, etc.. He could put the fear of God in me with just a stare.

Exactly, my dad would've killed me. I think it's different for us older guys vs. the younger guys. Kids aren't kept in line as much as they were when we were kids. Discipline is kinda frowned on nowadays. My dad was USMC and I gotta tell you, he wouldn't hesitate to give me the beatdown. All it took was one big screwup, and I gotta tell you, I never screwed up again

Oh, and I turned out perfectly fine, no mental/physical scars or emotional problems.

That kid needs an ass whuppin. Plain and simple.

That outburst didn't just happen, though. He's done it before and gotten away with it... The breeders that brought him into the world need an ass whupping, too.
