Yeah i used to live in texas. Several times when i went travelling and came across a small town, there was a funeral precession and everyone pulled over to the side of the road. really nice people in tejas, kinda miss it.

People like that just harden my resolve that I simply dont like religion most of the time. Try coming to Utah and telling someone youre gay or that youve had premarital sex or anything "sinful" and you can expect a reaction like that.

I live in Texas. People here aren't that friendly if you are in any way different. When someone dies or something tragic happens, everyone gets all somber and everything. But when someone actually turns out to be gay, or puts up a Kerry sign everyone turns bat**** and goes crazy.

Its a really naive place to live, imo.
