When you're talking about large criminal organizations that are having an effect on our economy and our national security, then it is their concern. I don't know why people think that crime is so segregated. That guy selling heroin on the corner in the bad part of Austin (E. MLK Blvd and Chestnut Ave?) is ensuring that Al Queda has money. That's a fact. Is that the case with all crime? No. But don't ignore the large networks that exist to facilitate crime.

It is a federal concern.
