Ummm…. I think it’s safe to say, that the Iraqi detainees have went a bit far with stories they’re making up. I wonder why the story would be printed so widely, and the former prisoners be interviewed on Nightline?

Lots of corroberating evidence there. Maybe Mary Mapes found a typed letter from GWB instructing soldiers in the field to use the lions.

Amazing how all detainees are innocent isn't it?

It’s very telling about the media. I’m amazed that anti-military stories get printed like this, not even considering the forum on nightline, without any research or checking? I would think that anyone with a grain of objectivity would try and look a bit deeper. You know, research and ask questions.

Where did they get lions? Does the army use lions often? How are they transported, and fed? Who were the officers on duty that used the lions? Where there lion cages at the presidential palaces, or were they shipped in?

I’m sorry, I’ve believed in the past of American torture, but these guys just blew their, if not all former detainees, credibility.

Well maybe the interrogators using these forms of torture decided to use means that are well beyond the boundaries of believable so people would just disbelieve out of hand....

Than again, LIONS???

Well I was thinking that all detainees are innocent the way everyone in prison is innocent. But yes of course since we're not fighting an army who wears a uniform we get to treat each captured soldier like a criminal prosecution.
