It just amazes me that people have no idea of their rights in these circumstances. The girl could have just said "no," then left at any time during the entire ordeal. Hell, I throw a fit when the guy at Best Buy asks to look in my bag (which in retrospect, I haven't been asked in a long while).

I remember a time when we were having a party and the police showed up because of a noise complaint (which was actually the party downstairs, not us). The officer commented that "We know it's not you, but I'd still like to come in and look around." I just told him, "As much as you'd like to officer, I can't let your do that. You have a nice night." I wasn't rude about it, and he wished me the same and left.

Anyways, like I've always said: Know you rights, protect yourself.

first- i would have told that manager to tell the cop to get his lazy @$$ to the
store if he thought i was a thief

second i would have sued the crap out of the store if they even suggested i was a thief without any sort of proof

third - that girl didnt look 18 so sodomy or otherwise that guy who made her jump around will probobly have a nice stay in prison.....they dont like child molesters in there very much.....

Well rest asured she's now rich as hell. My gf was harrassed at McDonalds for stealing $3000.. the cops screamed at her called her stupid.. and then they find that when the bank did their calculations they had an extra $3000 guess what happened... NOTHING not even oh sorry dude or heres a free McNugget.. just well what do you want us to do.. 3months of crap and McDOnalds throws you away

The fact that she was doing jumping jacks and running in place and people taking orders from a voice would have been funny, if it didnt lead to sexual acts, and, well the main point, strip searching. I can see how it would have been funny to prank people and get people to try and do things over the phone, I may have done that... but THIS GUY WENT WAY TO FAR!
