8-bit D&D

Someone told me about this flash video. Its a hilarious "parody" of an average Dungeons and Dragons session.

What makes it so funny is that its so true. For me at least, this is exactly what my most fun and memorable D&D experiences were like, simply because of how pointless and poorly run they were enjoy!

Re: 8-bit D&D

They used that audio in an easter egg in a PS2 game with rediculous load times: Summoner.

It's pretty funny.

Re: 8-bit D&D

I shouldn't post because I disagree.

First off the summoner version was the one I saw before and it was like way funnier, just because it was more nonsensical.

Second all of my most memorable DnD moments were in well run campaigns where we decided to dick around, during the game OR after it.

Third, back to point 1, any gamer worth his cred has seen that video so many times, that if you added two people's ammounts of times having saw it, you couldn't count that high.

Re: 8-bit D&D

ahh...the first summoner one is soooo funny...that one is good too...i think they both use the same audio...one guy is like a space robot and another guy look likes the badguy from Spawn something-anator...anyways...as azzman has posted, its older than the internet...but hes wrong..this is almost every D&D session ive seen...god i hate that game

Re: 8-bit D&D

Go confine yourself to a world of tangible gaming, why don't you?

I'll say again, crap like that DOES happen but not like that. We get stuff in order, no retarded basic screw ups.

And again, half the fun of the game is dicking around!
