2. You are allowed to make mistakes all the time. Surely you appreciate the contrast between the idea you presented, that the modern writing style is superior to the classic style, and the way you presented it with a run-on sentence inside another run-on sentence, incorrect punctuation, incorrect spacing, and even the incorrect word. I mean, damn dude: that's some funny stuff!
1. Of course there are, there are multiple interpretations of everything. Golden example 1: The Bible.

2. Yes, yes, perhaps it is. I think you need to advertise your "I'm joking"ness more clearly, lest you meet an untimely end at the hands of a particularly sensitive guy at a bar, who did not apreciate you pointing out that he had small womens feet.

Man, I was laughing at the concept of Poe, King and Lucas being "in the books" together. I just don't think it's gonna happen.

Re: Star Wars 7-9

Anyone remember Shatner's line from The Voyage Home about the "classics" of the Star Trek universe? (He mentions Harold Robbins and Jacqueline Susann. Spock responds, "Ah, the giants.")

Re: Star Wars 7-9

I got bored of reading all of the comments and back and forth pointless arguements and I will only say this:

George Lucas needs to stop directing his own movies, look what happened with The Empire Strikes Back....

He's always said he won't leave the rights to anyone. It's his intention that the vision dies with him. That's rather silly. Either he leaves the rights to someone, and the vision continues with someone in control, or the fanbase goes absolutely nuts producing stuff with no-one in control, and we'll get all sorts of widely conflicting plots which will lead to a complete mess.

Re: Star Wars 7-9

I'd like the "mess". It lets the fans choose who's vision to line up behind. Very similar to the way open source can fork and people can choose the solution that best fits their needs.
