I remember when this came out in the theater I was 14. My buddies, and I went to see it 5 times, of course we all started sporting cool aviator glasses, and were destined to become fighter pilots ourselves...errr.. Needless to say that never happened, but a classic flick for sure.

I liked Top Gun too. It was even cooler because my friends dad actually flew tomcats when the movie came out. Needless to say, my friend got major cool points for what his dad did.

Top Gun was one of the greatest movies in the 80's. It had great sound effects, good plot, and good actors. I cant believe that some people dont like Top Gun. Oh yea, who has never jammed out to some music there...because I know I am not the only one that listens to some Kenny Loggins "Highway to the Danger Zone". It is the most copied movie in the world, and when I was in Djibouti Africa, the French were making there version of it.
