I got 118 too, but that's not what standard deviations means.

A standard deviation is a distance from the mean, in this case apparantly 100. something like 68% of people fall within one standard deviation of the mean on a standard (non-skewed) bell curve. IfI remember right 95% fall within 2 standard deviations and 99% fall within three. The other 1% are either extremely smart or extremely stupid i.e. above 130 or below 60(according to the test anyway). Our score of 118 with a standard deviation of 15 and mean of 100 puts us in the 2 standard deviation ABOVE the mean. This roughly puts us somewhere above 84% of the population and below 97.5% of the population.

Cool test, some of those last ones were tough, especially with the time limit.

I did about 10 or 15 but when I had to start thinking for more than a few seconds I did random on the rest and got 102. I wonder if people doing that has skewed the test? I might go back and do it again when I have the time or inclination.

I tried it with (psudo)random answers and it said that i had an iq BELOW 79. I might try it again with answers that I know to be wrong. 118 sounds about right for me also, though I've never taken an official test...
