Canadian University limits WIFI for health concerns...

A Canadian University limits WIFI to all but the most remote areas of it's campus for fear of harming their students. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/02..._uni_wifi_ban/ As it runs off of the same frequency as 2.4 ghz phones, odd that they are challenging the technology now.

LOL. Don't forget all the flys up there. Do they realize that microwave operate at the same frequency? Imagine the implications? Starving students etc.

Sounds like more quack medicine, the same type that in the 80's made us think that powerlines are responsible for cancer.

A guy at work got his eng degree at Lakehead. Needless to say this provided additional good-natured jabs.

oh lord I have a friend who was in the 82nd airborne division. He works with a bunch of fmr. service members from other branches or divisions. Think of the beating he's taking!

In the 1990's when they started selling magnets in shoe in-soles and bracelets and mattress pads for their healing properties...the same electromagnetic fields they claimed were the cause of cancer in the 80's, but now these are magical holistic rare earth magnetic fields.
