i learned on a mac it was my first computer, i learned on them in school where i was,

but the first time i used a PC i did never want to touch another mac again,

i have had some experience on the mac stations that are out now and i never ever want to touch them again, nothing works with them and they are awkward

Re: Mac......

I remember when I had my Amiga it had a similar OS to a mac and that one button mouse. I remember the transition to a PC as being awkward but using the Mac's here in the office (well in fact not using them) I have to say they are really awkward.

I'd really love to see some proper specs though to prove one way or the other. Is there any point to a mac now since most progs you can get for a PC these days it seems.

I did Mac tech support for a while but I am out of date so I dont have a solid opinion, really I think they are pretty close to each other now adays and the comparisons most people make are out of date.

Re: Mac......

I have about 40 to 50 hours of experience in the last three weeks. It has NOTHING to do with the platform being "better" at handling graphics, it is the programs that run on on the platform that determine how it "handles" graphics. now that all the programs are migrating to pc, mac will be loosing a lot of its "market share" because it is competing against a pc in its only monopolized market.
