My laptops native is 1920 x1200. Personally I enjoy it esp. when I am watching movies and seeing more things on my desktop. But finding a good wallpaper is annoying

Re: At what resolution do you run your desktop?

Damn, my eyes must be going bad. I don't like 1600x1200 even on my 21" crt... icons/text too small... and I don't have a video card capable of 1600x1200 in games, I'd probably do that if I could.

Re: At what resolution do you run your desktop?

I run at 1024x768 because it's the highest resolution that my monitor supports that I can still get a decent refresh rate on. If it's not running at at least 70hz I'll end up with a horrible headache really fast. It's also hard to read text at higher resolutions on my little 17'' monitor when it's really late at night and I'm tired. My vision blurs enough after I've been wearing contacts for ~15 hours straight, so the tiny text does not help.

Re: At what resolution do you run your desktop?

I run my desktop @ 1152x864 @ 75hz, I could run @ 1280x1024 but of course my CRT doesn't support anything but 60hz at that res which gives me a headache to. Of course everything gets to small at that res with only a 17inch crt.

I run games usually in 1024x or my desktop res.

Re: At what resolution do you run your desktop?

My laptop runs at 1680x1050 (widescreen) native.

My LCD TV which serves as my Home Theater PC monitor runs at a very odd resolution. It's 1366x768 (1080i) resolution natively, but for some asinine reason that resolution looks like crap on my desktop, but somehow 1268x864 (I think) looks great with it.

Ironically, I set my BF2 to run at 1360x768 and it looks fine.
