Re: At what resolution do you run your desktop?

I chose option three, even though I'm running 1280x960 for my desktop.

Games are run at 1600x1200 (HL2/CS/DoD, SWAT4), if they'll take it, otherwise I drop down to 1024x768 (BF2, Civ4).

Re: At what resolution do you run your desktop?

Guys, I think the purpose of the poll is so we don't all have to waste time posting "I'm running 1280x1024!" in the thread. Because that would just clutter it up, you see? And it's much easier to just input your choice on the poll, leaving this thread clear for discussion about resolutions. For example, I run at 1280x1024 because it's my LCD's native res, but before that I was at 1024x768 because my CRT was very small.

rofl, I give up. Why do we even bother with polls if we're all just going to post it anyways

I sometimes run games at 1024x768 if they are really demanding. Other games, like Continuum, I run way up at 2048x1536.
