Sounds like no one knows how, when, who or what was being smuggled out. Yes the coatlition could/should have better control over those sites and the borders. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt based on the fact they're still getting shot at.

And yes, I fully agree, the more that people know, the better.

What's the target here? To find WMDs that may be used to murder tousands or show how, whatever the outcome, the USA is to blame somehow? It seems that no matter what the story is, there's a mad rush to figure out a way to make Bush look bad.

IMO the Tribune have blatently misheadlined because the above is neither said nor confirmed within the article. The article talks about "dual use" componants and scrap metal, but does not mention fully assembled WMDs.
