Re: Worst movies ever?

Hey, I liked Showgirls! I even have the DVD!!

One terrible movie that comes to mind is Sphere, with Sharon Stone and Dustin Hoffman. Battlefield Earth was a joke as well.

Re: Worst movies ever?

IMDB lists their bottom 100: http://www.imdb.com/chart/bottom

I've seen two:

Jaws: the Revenge stars the shark coming after the family of Roy Schatner (who declined to appear);
Alien From LA: MST3k did it and I saw their version on Saturday morning. Funny robots and Kathy Ireland. Not too shabby.

Re: Worst movies ever?

I could list a bunch of films I've hated or are just bad but I'll list ones that I thought were gonna be good and turned out exceptionally awful.

Pearl Harbor was a turd. I'm still bitter over this Bruckenheimer trash.
Alien vs. Predator - Oh how 2 of the best sci-fi franchises were completely disgraced

Re: Worst movies ever?

I'm with you on Weatherman - that was a terrible flick - but Traffic? That movie was outstanding!

Maybe the Indiana heat is getting to you. You should move some place cooler. I know just the spot.

I would say almost anything starring J. Lo.

Re: Worst movies ever?

I loved a night at the roxbury, there are alot of movies that get bad ratings that I enjoy to watch even know eevryone else and I know they are stupid. "You broke the window again" "Dads gonna be pissed".

My gf made me sit through "D.E.B.S.: Dumbest movie ever.
"Doom" was pretty bad, although the First Person View seqence was pretty cool, a bit corny.
"Kung Pow:Enter The Fist" Pretty damn dumb to.
"Scream" and all its sequels really retarded, I'm tired of those stupid teen horror films, oh and the same exact movie with a different title, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and its sequels.

Re: Worst movies ever?

Yeah Traffic is terrific, IMO. I really like the way Soderberg shoots and edits.

Speaking of which, Out of Sight is a good J. Lo movie. Pretty good flick period.

Two of the worst movies in my opinion:

Ghost Ship (I walked out of this one)

Admittedly I watched this whole movie (and yes I thought it sucked) but only because it was in HD

Re: Worst movies ever?

I know several people who hated Zoolander on first viewing but who came to love it. It's like scotch or caviar in that regard...

I can't hear "He's not heavy, he's my brother" without chuckling now.

Robot Monster and The Core. Two worst movies of all time.

Re: Worst movies ever?

Tim Burton's Batman was gold! Jerry gold! This movie must be removed from the list. I agree that Batman Begin's is much better.
It has a lot of one liners. "Batman, Batman, can someone tell me what kind of a world we're living in, when a man dresses up like a bat and takes all my press.... this town needs an enima." Joker. Batman (1989)

Re: Worst movies ever?

Anyone ever see Portrait of a Lady? ... yeah didn't think so.

I agree with Weatherman (cameltoe :shudder: ) and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.
Awful.

S.I.C.K. was also awful.

Is there a best movies thread? There should be. I'd like much better to know what people would reccomend seeing than what they'd reccomend burning in large piles for sport.
