Re: Worst movies ever?

I really didn't enjoy 'Being John Malkovich'.

I actually missed the start of this movie. Why was the ceiling so low in that office?

I'm just going to throw this one out there....

I still haven't been able to watch Gladiator without falling asleep. Gimme Sparticus any day of the week over that snoozer.

Re: Worst movies ever?

Yeah a lot of people do, but I think it blows. Sorry it's definitely not worst movie ever, just wanted to see if anyone wanted to hate on Gladiator with me.

That movie would have been less boring if Morgan Freeman had driven the chariot in the ring.

I liked gladiator, AND waterworld. I hated bride and prejudice, now THAT was a terrible movie.

I second that.

I'll also second Gladiator and any other Russell Crowe movie for worst movies.

Worst movie of all times has got to be Rocky Horror Picture Show. I sat through that POS more than 300 times and I'm pretty sure I lost 10 good IQ points because of it.

Re: Worst movies ever?

There has never been a bad movie made. Sometimes the wrong audience sees them, however.

Re: Worst movies ever?

Wow. Everyone had some great ‘bad” movies. I agree with most of your comments. But to me these are the top ten. Although Cabin Boy, The Core and Ghost Ship I thought of reconsidering. Ghost Ship…Since when do ghosts need a five-minute rock-n-roll song to show their story…horrible.

But I’m still not convinced. Here’s why…

1. Caddy Shack-2- Just not funny. Actually made me feel uneasy. Insulting to the original.
2. Ishtar – zzzzzzz zzzzz zzzzz zzzzzz zzzz.
3. Nell – “A chick-a-pay”…enough said.
4. Howard the Duck – He’s a duck. He saves the world. He gets the girl. How can a duck get the girl!? What will their kids look like? HE’S A DUCK! I think this movie was supposed to be a comedy?
5. Wild Wild West – Real movies need a plot, Will.
6. Waterworld – Mad Max on water.
7. Spice World – “Girl Power!”…Annoying. Like scraping a chalkboard.
8. Battlefield Earth – Did you know if you use a flight simulator for a few hours you could fly a Harrier Jet and kill aliens? And what’s with the giant snots coming from the alien’s noses.
9. Highlander sequels – You know it’s a bad movie when the third Highlander won’t even acknowledge the second one. It was like it never happened.
10. Baby Geniuses- This movie was so stupid. I’m not even going to comment.

Sorry Rick. The early Batman movies could have been great but the star's egos ruined them.

Thanks to everyone who posted. Keep them coming.

I liked pride and prejudice.

I can completely understand how if you liked gladiator and waterworld you wouldn't have liked a movie about upper-middle class relationships in 18th century Europe...they don't exactly have much in common.

No! It fulfills all the criteria of a bad movie, you're just all crazy. I'm going to the corner to sulk

You shouldn't mix depressants and stimulants like that.

You've obviously never seen Showgirls.
