Gladiator is my absolute favorite movie of all time.

However, I am easily swayed by hot Aussie men in Roman garb.

So I'm biased, sue me.

My number 1 is Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation. It was an utter nightmare. The worst shipload of crap I've ever laid my eyes on.

Absolutely. They used 1 set with no lighting for the entire movie. And the main baddies were some kind of bug that burrowed into human brains.

The first one was atleast entertaining for what it was (a B action movie)

I actually missed the start of this movie. Why was the ceiling so low in that office?
I would give the movie another try. Its one of the most original (and best imo) movies from the 90s. As for the ceiling...well...because the "portal" was located between the 7th and 8th floors...hence why the 7 1/2 floor was made. Its also just part of the comedy of the movie. Just remember that the whole movie is less about the typical hollywood film where its all about character x and y navigating a typical path through a story thats built to entertain. BJM is interesting story wise but its more food for thought to the larger concepts it touches on.

Ahh, I didn't see this one listed. Hippy global warming movie, probably directed by Al Gore:

The Day After Tomorrow

Horrible, horrible movie.

Re: Worst movies ever?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet but Sideways had to have been one of the worst movies I have seen. How that got a 5 star rating I have no clue.

You love TLC and you love Gladiator. They are equally exciting.

My wife loved that movie. That means it definitely sucked. I'm surprised no mentioned Ghosts of Mars.

It had some cool special effects. And... well... it had... ya, that's all.

Re: Worst movies ever?

I saw "The Core" on tv a little while ago and definitely ranks up there as one of the worst movies i've seen.

I agree with Weatherman (cameltoe :shudder: ) and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.
Awful.

S.I.C.K. was also awful.

Is there a best movies thread? There should be. I'd like much better to know what people would reccomend seeing than what they'd reccomend burning in large piles for sport.
Ok. Kung Pow was mentioned... Thank god. If i'd seen this post as soon as it started, i would've made sure to scream that one from the mountain tops.

I didn't only walk out of that movie... I asked for my money back. And i got it!

Re: Worst movies ever?

I've always wanted to see Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.

So it's not funny?

I'm happy to see Day After Tomorrow mentioned. It inspired Team America, which I like.
