Haha, I just found out this morning that yesterday Marmaduke busted out the door again and charged the neighbor across the street. She is afraid of dogs, and it doesn't help that this one is a monster. Her husband is the assistant DA in our county, and he called animal control. I don't know what was said, I still have to find that out. He did tell his wife that when she's outside, to bring a baseball bat with her. If he comes on the property near her again, he told her to hit him. I'm going to try and talk her out of that.....not because I'm some PETA idiot, but because I want her to use pepper spray instead. The benefit to that is no permanent damage (and less chance of a lawsuit), and when the dog goes home he will contaminate everyone there

I wouldn't worry about the assistant DA's ability to handle himself in a lawsuit with the Clampetts.

But actually you make a good point. Any lawyer worth his salt would have already solved that problem and scared the ever-loving crap out of those neighbors. I've never had a neighbor's dog attack my wife or a neighbor's employees assault her, but it would not be a pretty situation, and I'm not a lawyer.

I doubt it. My guess is that the counter/sink is nothing but a wind barrier for them.

Yesterday about 6pm I took my dog out to go to the bathroom. I saw her on the deck and when she saw me, she started talking very loud. I heard my name several times and phrases like "it's just expected now" and things like that. They think I'm the reason that the other neighbors don't like their dog. You and your other neighbors should just band together and submit a public nuisance petition. Dont know if you guys can do that where you are, but where I am, if you can get 10 signatures stating the exact reason for the complaint and a reasonable solution and submit it to the city council and its approved, the city coucil will submit orders to the local law enforcement agencies to have the appropriate action taken. Might be an easy way to make sure that marmaduke stays locked up.

So my wife just tells me that the beagle got out today and went towards the mailman. The mailman can't stand the dogs. The beagle got his frist taste of pepper spray today

He actually bit the mailman before, which is why he got sprayed

My neighbor situation has calmed down a bit. Other than their pitbull barking a 2am. I think it knew I was about to kill it

. I haven't had anymore 4am wake up calls by the po-po calling to them over the PA for them to come out of the house peacefully. But I did see this am and thought of you guys and this thread.

It is not as bad as JMJ's neighbors or some of the other pics but to me it is indicitive of how they behave. No they are not on vacation.
