It ain't over till the fat lady sings. It's like a good movie; it's just the beginning of the end and the end is always the best part.

Make sure you get some good pictures of the repo when it happens, JMJ.

Re: oh yeah, RANT ON (or, "I wish my neighbors would hurry up and die")

As this is nearing conclusion I think JMJ needs to upgrade from stills to video

I can just imagine JMJ having one last arguement in the street with them (while filming) just before the cab takes them away to cockroach motel

Haha.......I should charge up the battery on my camcorder

Not a whole lot to report really, it's been extremely quiet over there. Oh wait, I was out BBQ'ing yesterday and they got home. The oldest kid strips down to his BVD's and goes swimming.....pretty funny. I believe it was on Friday that psycho was packing up the pod. The tree was in the way of my view so I couldn't see exactly what was going in it.

Remember this image?

Not so much for the dog, but look at the tree next to the house. Those red balls are Christmas decorations that they never took down. That is, until recently. The kids took them down. They are large plastic ornaments, and the kids proceeded to take down as many as they could knock off the tree, then smash them to bits with sticks and hammers. They then took the pieces and tossed them down the storm drain. They must've picked that up from their dad who I have seen throw McDonald's trash right down the storm drain. And yes, psycho was actually watching them as they were destroying them

You can look at the picture in this thread to see the ornaments gone:

He still barracades the Envoy in as soon as he gets home with it, I have to step outside and ask him "How long do you think you can avoid the repoman?" I'm sure that would get him riled up

I'd be willing to bet that just before they move out theyre going to trash the house to the point where its going to cost 10k plus to repair. They just strike me as that kind of people.

Yeah I am really hoping that I missed a point where the pool got cleaned. Either that or the kid now looks like the swamp thing.

Excellent idea I can see it now: Shakey footage, JMJ sneaking around, breathing audibly from the adrenaline, until suddenly...

"Blair With Project II: The Beginning".
(We already have the theme song too!)

Ps I hope this thread will not move to a monthly subscription soon, although I would probably pay .

Re: oh yeah, RANT ON (or, "I wish my neighbors would hurry up and die")

Yeah, the pool was cleaned.

So I'm sitting here at my kitchen table working from home today. I see both of them come outside and get in vehicles, she gets in the truck, he gets in the repo-special. Neither one of them have kids. They both drive off. I sure wouldn't leave those 2 kids unattended in my house. I'm 99.9% sure I know where she's going....the same place she has been going every single morning for quite a while now: Dunkin Donuts. She gets breakfast every morning. I don't think they have food in the house anymore. Oh, she did take her boyfriend (the duke) with her. I guess he's a good ridealong buddy

Anyone here work for the electric company? How long till they shut off your electricity if you aren't paying your bills?

Is the oldest kid old enough that this is kosher?

Dunno what you consider old enough. I think they are 8 and 5. That is probably not considered appropriate in this day and age. When I was 7 I was a latchkey kid. Then again, I have always been *fairly* responsible.....unlike those two monsters

Some municipalities would consider leaving kids that young unsupervised a neglect situation. Depending on the statutes you might even be required to report neglect when you encounter it, considering your part-time status. Maybe Child Welfare Services should show up for a little chat?

I'm not going *there* yet. My wife has considered it though, especially considering what a headcase the wife is.
