They came back today, raping and pillaging the contents of the garage. Still no word on what is up with the house, but I am dying to get inside and see it. Last I heard there was no carpet on the 3rd floor because marmaduke ruined the carpet by using it as his personal bathroom. Best part of all? That's the master bedroom

You just can't make this stuff up. The electricity is shut off at the house now. The husband comes over about 7:30pm (can hear his truck 1/2 a mile away) and he's in the dark house for a while. I hear some noise over there so my wife and I look out the window. He actually took (uninstalled) a pedestal sink from one of the bathrooms....WTF? The light was too poor to get any pictures....can you believe that??????????

This thread is a prime example of why not all people are equal. I don't care what some bleeding hearts might say, but some people just shouldn't be in certain places such as a neighborhood as nice as JMJ's.

I grew up in a middle-class, but very nice and well kept neighborhood. 2 houses down from me, the owners decided to rent it to the city for Section 8 housing. The first family was a black family who invited their 20 relatives to live with them. That is no exaggeration. It used to be a nice house with a well manicured lawn. They trashed the lawn by always parking their Cadillac with gold rims on it. The city kicked them out and the lawn was completely mud by that point and the house was trashed within a year. The next family was some white-trash yokels from Arkansas. Those kids completely tore down their fence and pretty much finished off the house. The city kicked them out too, and the owners decided to sale it for next to nothing. Thank god a nice gay couple bought the place and spruced it up and all. Our home values promptly increased. Maybe you'll have the same fortune in the end, JMJ.

Massachusetts has "triple decker" housing. It's a HUGE house that is 3 floors, each floor is it's own house. There are a few decent ones here and there, but they are basically low income housing. My old neighbors definitely belong in one smack in the middle of downtown!

Well JmJ get your finacial house in order. this one will be up for sale in a month or two for a fraction of the value. I got my home cheap as hell because some low rent people couldn't pay for it so they trashed it. I got it cheap and fixed it myself. Even with the housing crunch it's worth 2.5 times what I have invested and getting better all the time.
