dont be so negative.... i still have faith in the man between the uprights... that was a bad start.... but ghana, you will beat, and Italy did not look solid on the back 4... they have a good attack however, 2 of their 3 goals was defensive errors the third was an irratic goal keeper.

it would be the shock of the group.... but i think you can knock italy off the 2nd spot.

oh and even the comentators last night said.... the officiating in this world cup has been pretty good... "well with the exception of the England paraguay game"...... that mexicn ref was looking to swing a visa out of the game.... lol

Alright some results. Korea won its game today 2-1 and France and Switzerland tied. Next up is Brazil vs Croatia.

Croatia held their own really well, I was surprised at their resilience.

Croatia defiantly showed that Brazil is beatable. Ronaldo played horribly, just walking all over the field. I think the only think he did somewhat right was a shot in the second half, but even that wasnt on frame. Ronadinho was fun to watch. Late in the second half right before the irate fan ran on the field, he practically dribbled through 4 defenders.

The general concencus of the UK match critics was that Brazil didn't really play all that well. The goal from Kaka was pretty good and Ronaldiniho's dribbling was great to watch but apart from that I wasn't very impressed. The Brazilians were hardly trying.

At the begining of the match all I wanted to see was great football and lots of goals, but towards the end I was cheering on Croatia because Brazil were hardly on the pitch. I would have liked to see a 1-1 draw.

I was disappointed in Brazil as well. Ronaldo did nothing but just stand there. I hope they get there act together. It is only gonna get harder once they get pass there group.

Croatia did very well though. I was pretty impressed just bad luck if you ask me.

by comparison, is a blunt instrument, a simple game that depends more on stamina and strength than on the eye-hand coordination, mental gamesmanship and unique combination of grace and power that baseball demands.

this guy obviously knows jack crap about the game and has never seen agood side play.... no hand eye coordination.... try playing in goal son, unique combination of grace and power, try watching wayne rooney, or thierry henry pick apart an oponents defense. absolute rubbish.... the mere fact he compares baseball and football is ridiculous, they are a completly differentstyleof game... thats like comparing cricket and bowling...

Tunsia beat out Saudi Arab 1-0. So far Germany vs Poland is an intense game and it is at 0-0. I swear the crowd is about to riot though.
