Need internet search help

I am looking for something to show that the ACLU has helped a cop or two in the past. Or they currently are. I have tried googling the following with zero results.

"ACLU helps cop"
"ACLU helps police"
"ACLU helps law enforcement"
"ACLU helps sheriff"
"ACLU assists cop"
"ACLU assists police"
"ACLU assists law enforcement"

And there are numerous others. And before you ask, yes, I have removed the quotes. At least when I removed the quotes I got something back as opposed to, "Your search - 'ACLU helps cop' - did not match any documents. "

So...does anyone have any information about the ACLU aiding a cop or cops in anything legal? At least give this thread a week for people to answer my question before it is derailed please.

+aclu +defense +police

That might turn up something. Going to play OFP or I'd give it a shot myself to see.

Re: Need internet search help

man I can't wait to see how this episode ends.

I'm trying a similar search:

"David Duke french kisses Al Sharpton"
"David Duke Al Sharpton fire island"
"Al Sharpton drapes David Duke"

so far no luck. Any suggestions?

Bwahahahahahaha!!!!!!

Ahem.... Err, sorry.

I'll spend some time Googling this, but it kinda goes against the whole purpose of the ACLU...

Ten minutes finds absolutely nothing.

I searched for:

"american civil liberties union" "defends police"
aclu "defends police"
"american civil liberties union" "assists police"
aclu "assists police"

Re: Need internet search help

OK, I found this, but it's not safe for work or kids due to language:

Cops and civil rights

Seriously, though, I'll keep looking...

No I have it, I'm just testing Google's liberal bias.

The fewer search terms you use, the better, and eliminate all helping words.

Apophis has the right idea:

ACLU+Cop
ACLU+Defense+Law Enforcement

etc...

Re: Need internet search help

The problem with that is I just got back 673,000 results. Trying to find the one time that the ACLU might have helped anyone in law enforcement would be near impossible.

What's the context of this quest? Are you just curious or is there a larger question you're trying to answer?

Re: Need internet search help

I am writing a paper for college. I understand this is the sandbox and all but I am looking for information but trying to avoid a large scale debate about the ACLU. Difficult I know.
