Okay i wanted to put anal retentive but i couldnt bring my self to post that as a title. My wife seems to enjoy useing my PC, when hers is on and right next to mine. I just get really agitated when others use my PC, or even sitting near it. My father inlaw likes to take the mouse and show me things i already know. Now since we are moving she just wants one PC which means she wants to keep mine and ditch hers.

Anyone else get that way?

Yes. My girlfriend uses my computer all the tiem when she is over at me house. I understand because she really has no other options to check her e-mail or do her online shopping when she is over but I have to admit it annoys me a bit. We're getting an apartment next month and I'm hoping she uses her computer instead of mine.

Ugh, my PC has been down for a few months due to lack of funds to replace the HDD. I've been using hers and hating it.

So, I just got mine up and running and she and my son each have a "limited" account on my machine. They are forbidden from using my account. This solves many problems.

I don't like anyone using my PC. Doesn't matter who it is.

I keep Luna's machine up to date with some pretty decent hardware though. I've got 2GB of memory here waiting to get put in it. She's running an ATI X850XT with a 3.6GHz P4.

I primarily use my PC at home, while my wife uses her G5 laptop. The only time my wife needs to uses the pc is for internet access which is very seldom she uses it. I like Spyder's idea just use an excuse to go buy a new one after you give your older one to her.

I don't mind anyone using my computer. I have two computers in my room. My mom uses my desktop all the time to play solitare and other card games.

The thing is she doesnt do anything that really all that intensive its email and those trial games you can download off of MSN. She Just doesnt understand its the one thing in my life i have control and organization over. darn girls

Yes, its the same way at work. Her G4 laptop was purchased through the business but she still uses it at home and at work. Yes its a G4, I get confused with those annoying G numbers.

I don't like other people using my computer, but it's really not a problem since I'm the only gamer in the family (so no one needs to use my computer because it's faster) and the computer is in my room.

For those that hate people using their PC, why? I mean if you have a porn stash or something like that on it i can understand why youd hide it from your girlfriend, but i doubt all of you (besides maybe Icky) have a porn stash.

I don't like people using it because they always change settings and then I have to go find what they changed and where so I can fix it. I'm picky about how my computer works so when someone changes something it's really annoying.

I don't like my mom using it because a) it messes up cookies for my home page, such as new threads, b) she often gets on when I'm already on, c) she likes to get on in the morning at 7 or 8 AM on weekends, and types such that it wakes me up, d) she doesn't seem to grasp the concept of a scrollbutton, and when she scrolls, she applies pressure downward and turns on the analog scroll thing, then gets confused.
