Re: the war on drugs

Except the test cases as posted in the link above showed that those testers who were stoned came out on top. I think though your talking about being absolutely cained right? Where you're so stoned you're useless - I would agree, driving in that condition is stupid but whenever I've been that stoned the last thing on my mind is driving. I couldn't if I wanted to.

I never smoked anything that made me dumber though. Perhaps your weed is different than ours lol

Re: the war on drugs

jex my point if you choose to get it is i can drink the legal limit of a pint of larger and drive. i will be eprfectly normal. but if someone else does and they are smaller, they will be a danger.

so irreguardless of the fact that i can do it, i dont, because it is the legal safty limit. and saying smoking weed makes you a better driver is crap.

if i smoke one spliff i might be ok, if i smoke 2 well i will start to become complaicent

the point about alcoholics is that you said yyou were habitual, which means your tollerence is higher, therefore you would need more to make you react.

and fyi science has shown that smoking weed does affect your dopemine levels and makes you more prone to clinical depression and other depression like illnesses.

That's correct ...and so does consuming large amounts of alcohol....

I never said it does - the test cases did.

Re: the war on drugs

yes and i from personal expperience and it seems others with similar experience will say to that case, its a crock of ****

jex sorry but scientifically proven bees cant ply, but they do.

and more importantly when it comes to road safety if the case isnt conclusive, (which it cant be considering in a small group of people others have experienced the same as me) then it should remain illeagle to use on the roads. im sorry but its as baisic as that.

Re: the war on drugs

All I know is that I was lost and lonely until I started using hard drugs. Look at me now! Family, friends, a career. Hell I just bought a vacation home in the Alps.

Wait. Uh...Nevermind. Did I just have a flashback?

Re: the war on drugs

canibis isnt a hard drug,

it will have a similar affect on you as alcohol if used to abuse,

it can spark a number of mental illnesses if abused,

Call cannibas anything you like, but don't call it a fast-track to a happy and successful life.

and where did i say that,

i have already explained it is associated with many depression like illnesses tht are very seriuous indeed, however te similarities between alcohol use and canabis use are strikingly similar. in small quntities it will not actually do you any harm.

this maybe contrary to scientific studies i ave not seen, hell i know enough people that use it regularily to know it will not ruin your life if used inb moderation. same with beer which is legal.

but obviously as with ay substance if used in mega proportions and abused yes it will do damage, cancer for one, (although this can happen even when yu us it in moderaton) depresseion as i have said.

short attention span, is also common amongst people who abuse canabis, but all this is the same if not actually less than the violence and anti social behavior which comes from binge drinking and alcohol abuse.

i do not believe those who abuse canabis beat their wives when they are stonned but drunks on the other hand do.

i am not saying its better than alcohol, if anything i am just saying its different, but if used in moderate ammounts he potential problems can be avoided.
