Banner Ad on MySpace delivers spyware to over a million viewers

An online banner advertisement that ran on MySpace.com and other sites over the past week used a Windows security flaw to infect more than a million users with spyware when people merely browsed the sites with unpatched versions of Windows, according to data collected by iDefense, a Verisign company.

gg MySpace, my gf visits the page daily, and I hate seeing it on my screen. Better go check to see if I've got that crap on my computer, thanks for posting would not of known otherwise.


Well, I noticed it affects IE users without the fix, my gf for some reason uses IE to open myspace site, I use firefox.
