sure it's been covered before, but this:

"Apophis is a certainty to come closer to Earth than our communications satellites."

is news to me!

Note that Apophis is only listed as a 1 on the Torino Scale and that is only for 2036. The estimates will be re-evaluated in 2029 to see how the earth affects it's orbit.
