That is one tenacious squirrel. It's really the fault of all those people, though. They never paid him the protection fees.

My mother-in-law raised a baby squirrel to maturity....they can be pretty agressive but i never got bit by it. I wonder why in the world animal services doesnt handle squirrels? that doesnt make sense at all.....isnt that what they are for? to protect people from animals?

I've never heard of Animal Services/Control not handling any animal incident they were called about. When I was a vet assistant, I know they responded equally to everything from dogs to ducks. Sounds to me like someone was lazy here.

I dunno, but I don't find "sport" hunting to be very sporting if there's not a chance of the hunter becoming the prey...
