I have all the info I want on the website ready to go.

The deal is, it is in "Print Layout" view on a microsoft word.

Should I get everything set up for "Web layout" view?

If so, this info will be cut and pasted on the website and look just how I made it, right?

Thank You for your time.
Well, you want it on the web, and not in print, right?

Re: Questions about creating a website

Yeah, on the web.

I have been working with this and a like the feature. It feels like I am on the website I desire to have.

P.S.
When Armed Assault arrives, my nametag will be |TG-Irr|High-tech

No one deserves that name more than I.

Thanks for the conformation Pokerface.

Re: Questions about creating a website

Greetings, I am fixin to register a domain name.

I went to <www.thesitewizard.com> and got some good advice.

The domain will be the name of the business.

www."nameofbusiness".com (the business name is 23 characters long)

that seems long, but at least it is easy to say and spell, so that is cool. Plus, when people are telling each other it is easy to remember.

A hyphenated version seems ok, but it would be harder for people to tell someone about it on the fly.
"no no, i think there is a hyphen after that word."

A good short domain name option would be:

www."shortversionofbusinessname"-va.com
here there are only seven characters before -va.com. here va would mean Virginia.

The problem with this would be moving to another state (Maine, Alaska, Hawaii my first picks) and having issues.

I was thinking about doing this through godaddy.com.

Should I get a domain name through InterNIC or is godaddy.com cool?

My plan of action:

1. Purchase web hosting from godaddy.com

2. Register the domain name at InterNIC or godaddy.com

3. Purchase a business e-mail account name, than I can check it through go.daddy.com. Although i may not have to do this, i am still checking on this.

4. have at it.

Sounds good, no.

BTW, i was checking domain names and i thought of "insert domain name here" and sure as shooting it is taken. lol

Re: Questions about creating a website

If i register a domain with godaddy.com i would get free e-mail.

sounds great!

I believe i'll get the personalized e-mail deal

"Rick@nameofdomainname".com

That seems too long (27 characters before .com)

maybe:
"Rick@shorten business name".com (11 characters before .com)

This is going to be so tight.
