Kidman condemns Hamas, Hezbollah

Yah because hollywood has any effect on world politics that dont concern them. Why do these people think they run things and what they have to say is so important. Shes aussie anyway, what does it matter to her?

Oh it's all marketing. If they want to buy an ad in a national newspaper, then they have as much right to do that without eyerolling as anyone else.

Most people here at TG have pretty strong convictoins, but unfortunatly there are probably a lot of folks out there who take what celebrities say as gospel.

Next they will be saying its bush's fault and he should be impeached. Dont get me wrong i agree with her, but why is it when actors state the obvious they get a big press deal

When I see a star in the news for any reason - beating his wife, getting arrested, entering rehab, staging a 24 hour hunger strike for peace....ANYTHING - I know they have a movie coming out soon and can expect to see a zillion ads.

It's all marketing.
