Parenting is a funny thing.
Many say it brings them joy. On the whole there is no joy. Summed up it is painful. Yet still we do it. And despite the pain, it is fulfilling. Buddha was right.

We have a hard enough time wrangling with these questions in far less visceral issues. I can't see it working in a society to which I would want to belong. |
