Scary stuff... not terrorism, but as someone who was in nyc 5 years ago, this certainly doesn't help me stay nice and calm. What was a plane doing over manhattten anyhow? isn't that airspace restricted?

yankees pitcher cory lidol was the pilot. 4 confirmed deaths sad day for his family and baseball.

Flight isn't restricted over the river I guess. That's what was stated in some of the earlier reports today.

nope it was registared in his name. i guess the Yankees have voiced their opinions in the past about him flying but he dint listen

Cory Lidle was killed in the crash. We was piloting the plane with a flight instructor on board. I think the yankees have a clause where you cannot fly without a flight instructor.
