That second post is interesting. I too am one of those gamers that purposely never finishes most games. I guess somewhere I decide that this games worth is in the accomplishment and that it will be worthless if I finish the story. So I shelve it until I forget all and start again because I don't remember the situation from teh save game. I really don't know why, but I seem to do this with most games.
I've tried the whole MMORPG thing but can't stand the repetitiveness of all the farming/camping/raiding. I have several friends that got bit hardcore by this addiction and one ended up in the hospital because eating and sleeping became secondary, his game was EQ1. The other just racked up huge credit card bills buying stuff off of auctions for his character. It's weird how dedicated they become. |
