Hmm... I could be wrong, but I swear I remember seeing a number of Bin Laden and other "bad guy" videos aired on CNN/other US news networks with the foreign logos present. Now, I have seen videos where they were blurred, but I'm pretty sure that I've also seen them intact as well.

Re: CNN shows insurgent video of GI being sniped

I don't have a particular problem with this video, depending on the context. But this article sums up my problem with the mainstream media:

http://www.washtimes.com/national/20...4140-6448r.htm

What happened to having news outlets that are still American, that still support our country, that actually want us to win?

Will we ever see reporters like Ernie Pyle again? Cartoonists like Bill Mauldin?

"Must be a tough objective. Th' ol' man says we're gonna have th' honor of liberatin' it."

Back to the sniper video, I think the media needs to consider that the guy in the crosshairs is an American, with a family that is going to be haunted by that video forever. Before publishing it, I would make damn sure that there's nothing on or about that troop that is personally identifiable. To do otherwise is just cruel and heartless.

I absolutely do not favor a rapid withdrawal but do support this video being shown.
