Saddam to be executed by 2pm

A senior Iraqi government official says Saddam Hussein will be executed before 2pm today.

Saddam Hussein may be hanged within hours

Good riddance.

It's on the front page of CNN.com now. He's to be executed at 6am local time (10pm EST).

It'll be interesting to observe the Iraqi response to this.

that would take hours.... electrecution, lions, hanging (done that) shooting, gassing, beating, mutilation.... the list is endless. i would love to have had him mustard gassed or something though... thats far more painful than hanging.

Whats sad is the Iraqis who are grateful for what we have done and his death cant celebrate because they would be killed by the minority of people causeing the problems.

oh yeah... my morning papper showed crowds of people running through the streets on car driving with two people cheering and a hanging dummy on the roof.... ofcourse it depends where you are... 77 people dead today and rising.

Just wathced some stuff on the news.

Disapointed that they hanged him on a day were the Constitution reads that you are not supposed to (some kind of religious day or something). Way to keep it real Iraqi government.

Disapointed that they allowed cell-phone cameras to tape him being cursed by others there (most likely Shea). The reason I am disapointed is that this will further inflame the tangos and help them recruit more tangos.
You guys know I am hardcore into reducing the recruitment of rebels/insurgents/tangos.

In conclusion, Sic semper tyrannis, indeed.
