Death of a President.
Death of a President is a fictional "documentary" about the assasination of George W. Bush in October 2006.
Who here has seen this movie? I just saw it, and I was amazed at how believable it was. I'll start more specific discussion once I see what some of you have drawn from it.

Re: Death of a President.
From all the controversy, I think it was a "limited" release here in the states. AKA, nobody wanted to play it.

Re: Death of a President.
It sounds interesting, but highly inappropriate since the President is still in power. Does the movie have an underlying political message at all?

Re: Death of a President.
There's a thread about this already somewhere in here.

Re: Death of a President.
I never knew a doc. was made about something like that; I should seriously see it. Though I have to agree with War.mongeR1 that it is inappropriate in the current situation. But then again, so much has happened already that seems "inappropriate" while Bush has been prez that it doesn't really matter so much.
This is most def. a doc. I need to see. |

Re: Death of a President.
I believe the director describes his film as a "mockumentary".
And I just added it to my Blockbuster Online queue.

Re: Death of a President.
Thats why I've been hesitating to write up my thoughts about the film yet. Not to mention some personal problems as of late. Maybe later tongiht.

Re: Death of a President.
That's the kind of internet question that gets the CIA at your door, and your name put on a no-fly list...and I'm dead serious, don't think I'm kidding.
