Re: de_forest
To be honest I don't like the forward push up the middle of river by CT's. Again that is a spot that once you are killed it is useless information to the CT. Why? Because you are to far away from your objective.

When I run up the middle river as CT, I can let the entire team know which side to expect the T's to be on. If they all rush across river to A, I'll at least see the last few stragglers. If they smoke across A, usually they don't do a good enough job to cover the entire spot so I'll at least get a count of how many crossed over. If I don't see anything, they're still on the B side. I've been running the scout up the river pretty much since they put the map in rotation and I'm yet to be surprised by a T team that got across river to A without me noticing. On the rare occasion that I get domepieced without getting a word out to my team of course I'm no value add - but the other 12 rounds of the map when I let my team know where they are so we can move them into proper spots I was an invaluable source of intel.

Re: de_forest
The first inlet to B from river on the CT side. If your going past that Tritone I think its too far. Not the crossover to b. Up the river is what I mean.
Of course they can't get to A without you seeing. Your looking at 1 of 2 exits out of T spawn. It makes the map one sided. Even being so huge. Is it past that inlet Tritone? Your camp.

Re: de_forest
That is the thing that really bothers me about this map that there is no way to get across to A without being seen which just makes it alot easier for CT's. Also concerning what tritone said, it is nice to have somebody calling out there spots on the river, but I think he was talking about CT's trying to flank them from the river (From where they are out of range to see their location on the radar). If they make it, they could automatically be taken out by somebody who is smartly watching the squads backs since flanks arenot rare, or pick off 1 or 2 (3 if the T's completely suck) and highlight some enemy point on the radar that rarely help but to give a rough body count even though they probably have an axact if Tritone or somebody else with his startegy is on the team.

Re: de_forest
Do you think this map could be edited? I don't think you'd need to change around the T side but maybe have the CT spawn closer to the A side of that crossover tunnel, just to make it at least if the Terrorists rush right away to the A side they would be undetected.

Re: de_forest
I don't camp there so I wouldn't know. Well Disiple I think that spot is good because you are covering B and have easy access to B. It is kinda far but it is also a very large map. Its just the T spawn only has those 2 exits which suck.
If Tritones position is taken then I advise a 2nd person watching up river from our spawn so B and A arn't flanked. After the middle goes down its time for A to cover its 3 entry points and B to cover its 2. Having the mid covered it allows coverge for CT spawn to A and B. It is a prime spot even after Tritone bites the dust. Thats just my opinion, if I'm told you can't be there well it changes.
