Discussion: Counter-Strike - Map Discussion / Server Maps Review - cs_paranoia - I think that is the name of the map. Anyway just making a discussion thread

    I think that is the name of the map. Anyway just making a discussion thread for it, so far I've only played T side on this but it seems like a promising map. It's mostly close-quarters and it's nice and cozy; not too big. maybe it was just me I was seeing others with the same problem but I was getting a little bit of lag and I saw others jumpin' around a little bit too, maybe it's my problem though.

    I believe this map is still in beta. Those errors that were popping up will probably be fixed when the full is released.

    Good layout for a map IMO. It's different. The map has some errors in console which is causing lag but it is only b1 of the map.

    fixed the map name for you conen.

    cs_paranoia (final version?)

    Not sure if we have the final version on the server yet, but we have a different one. I like this one better because the first version was just way too dark... I even had some trouble when i used night-vision. In this version, the lighting is fixed- the layout remained the same.

    And yes, that amazing elevator is still there (i checked :P)

    If that annoying sound didn't loop over and fricking over, I'd enjoy this map a lot more. Routes and hostages are good, maybe a bit lacking in, CT side, cover but, good over all.

    Good layout, but I think I can claim that it is T-Sided. However it provides a challenge for the CTs, requiring good comms and execution. The one this that saddened me about this map, is that there are so many cool little extra rooms that are not really utilized because there is no good reason to be inside of them for either team, but oh well.

    PS: agreed with Xen, some of these noise loops drive me INSANE!!
