And on that note, I love the map and would hate to see it go- aside from 3rdstreet and Backalley, which aren't played much, I don't think there are many city-style maps. (That I know of anyway, I don't keep up with the server 2 maplist T_T)

Also: Here's hoping Valve's rendition of Militia doesn't suck.

I've played on both sides and seen the CT's get taken out by sharpshooters (not necessarily snipers) on the roofs. Use one or two PCS players to get on the rooftops to the far left of the map (from the T's perspective). They can spot any movement from the right side of CT spawn, both ground and roof level.

On the right side of T spawn, a single shooter on the roof can pin down CT's long enough for a reserve fireteam in the middle to back them up.

I'm not going to remove the map from the server anytime soon, because I've seen some very good games on this map.

Let me first say if you remove the map I shall cry twice and PM you thrice.

I've played this map as both teams, and in a couple instances have found one tea to be unstoppable (it is not consistent which team).

The first pair of hostages can be quickly rescued with an agile and efficient team, adding to the money supply. Terrorist Solution: Surprise the CTs by camping at/near the first set of hostages for an effective ambush.

The roof-tops can be watched by one lone gunman on the topside of the Hostage building, or any of the surrounding structures. Counter-Terrorist Solution: Snipers can gain wonderful vantage-points, such as above the first-hostage room, the buildings on the far-left side (a teammate could cover as someone climbed up).

The Terrorists are covering everything so well! Counter-Terrorist Solution: Take advantage of the far right (from CT spawn) route, and find your way into the back hostages and give those baddies a nasty surprise.

The Counter-Terrorists always find our weakness! Terrorist Solution: Camp hostages. There are two sets that you can choose to cover, each offering a variety of defensive positions. Learn, adjust, and protect. Know thine enemies, and know thy map!

Re: cS_kismayo

This is a good map for spotters on the T team to practice restraint. Call targets in without touching your trigger, and then depending on WHERE the CT's are, fall back to the objective BEHIND the CT's. Nothing worse then shooting at the guys in front while their pal shoots you in the back

Solution : bribe Whistler to play on T's.

Just a thought, how does Ben tell if Whistler has hit a player on the genitals anyway?

No need to bribe, I like being T on this map for the simple reason that it is challenging.

A little cash never hurt, though.

Re: cS_kismayo

I've seen both sides do fairly well. I like playing this map on both sides.

T point of view: I find it very hard to cover all the entry points.

CT point of view: I'm still finding places for T's to hide in.

I'm in love with this map and I hope it stays in rotation.

Re: cS_kismayo

Funny one Root. Although, everyone knows that PCS Proven players are well endowed, so the target is quite easy to hit.

You are simply trying to compensate by your words for what you lack in the manhood department

Ask yourself the following question: "Would a 10 year old use the same retort?"

Answer: Yes

Conclusion: NEWER definition of lame
