The best way to make this work, is if all of the CTs on cats are dead, so that the guy guarding sewers has to be worried about his flanks.

sewers is a great trump card some times... we played penstock last night, and about 1.5 min after the T started getting contact (2 on roof, 2 in white room, 1 in bomb site 1 in red room) i started off for sewers (it was my initial plan), got in the room without anyone there, proceeded to catwalks and had plenty of time to headshot the 2 distracted people on cats, and on red room (looking at white room by the barrel) plinked the 2 in white room and dropped down and took out the red room person.... the whole CT team taken out by a delayed sewer sneak by one person (me =P) the next round.. 3 people that arent regulars decided to have a stab at sewers.. one nade to pwn them all, and in the darkness, laugh at their dead bodies. but sewers works very well 2 min after initial contact (untill yall read this post)

Not when I'm playing. Remeber when this thread started. That carnage was caused by Assault. He won't let it happen either. I'm sure theres a few more but you just lucked out and lived to tell us about it

The CT's should NEVER leave the sewer exit unguarded. Yes, it is very boring, but you have a massive advantage over the people trying to get up the ladder. It's also a good idea for that person to have a nade in hand to drop down the ladder.
The sewers don't work because SHUT UP.

The only way this will maybe work or come close to working with minimal deaths is by them not really looking into the sewer talking about the ct’s and him/her not really knowing what they are doing. But the t's have to throw at least one nade followed by a flash and all the t's rushing up with no one stoping on the ladder... cause I have seen ppl stop on the ladder just because there teammates get killed.

It requires a distraction and a reduction in the numbers of the defense. You simply are not going to be able to rush through the sewers if the CTs have a full team. If you're lucky enough, (Yes lucky, even against a terrible defender), to get a quick headshot on the defending CT, they should have a few on stairs/catwalk/red room roof to come running back when they see their sewers man go down. If they have 3 or more players and one isn't watching the sewers, they deserve to get the bomb planted in their own spawn.
