Re: CS_Covert
Please Read our SOP's.
Sir I am an admin and I love all maps including yours. Your map is up because we play it. Sometimes we play a map too much and would like to vote/change the map including Covert. Actually I hope you took the time to read up on your map in this post, because it was a little controversal. But its still good.
Maybe if you join up and ask an admin to keep it on and that your the maker he would be happy to help you. I will be on soon you can find me. Also if you did find any problems with our players you could Private message a admin here to help you clear it up,
Thank youFUN FUN

Re: CS_Covert
I understand what you're saying and I respect that.
I must assure you though I did not snap back at them at all, that's not my style as that'd be going down to their level.
I guess I am being quite defensive about my beloved cs_covert, but I guess that's only because it's the one map I worked ever so hard on and to see immature little souls snap at it for no real reason really does get to me. Surely you must understand that? It's an awful feeling, and I am more sensitive than others.
Since my last post no admin has been on, but hopefully next time I join I can have a blast.

Re: CS_Covert
I like this map. Sure it is very difficult and it sometimes drives me crazy how I can't get past the stupid fish, but it is a good map.
While I could understand that using it in our tournament might not be a great idea based on the difficulty to get out all 4 hostages, but (as others said) I don't think it is any harder than italy. In real life, I suppose you might get the first few hostages out, but the last ones would probably be over the T's bodies. I think it is pretty realistic (other than as a T, I'd pile more furniture up in spots) and complex.
I'd love to try designing sometime.. but when I recently tried to get going, i couldn't get that program set up for the new version of CS... all the how to set it up sitesrci found all refered to the old version (not source) so I gave up even trying.
Keep designing! I think it is great!"Sympathy means a lot, coming from Kulmar. I didn't think it was possible.
Good luck getting rid of your disease. If you're infected, though, stay away--I can't afford to be a zombie right now.

Re: CS_Covert
ok first, we do map votes all the time. If you look at this forum more closely you'll see we have a HUGE rotation. We switch maps up all the time and call votes a lot too. Some people don't want to play a particular map, don't take it personally. If someone insults you, we have a process for dealing with it. Have a look at our SOP's and stick around for a while. You'll not be disappointed if you really like realistic play.
We've played your map many many times and most of us love the challenge. check out the other pages in this thread for some of the opinions posted.

Re: CS_Covert
So who do I have to pay off to get this map taken off rotation?
