Re: Rise of Flight, WW1 sim...
Jesus..All I can say is I hope the rest of the game is not this buggy. I have flown the third tutorial mission 5x and each time one of the last waypoints refuses to acknowledge that I have flown through it. I've gone through it forwards, backwards, sideways, upside down...not sure what else to try. Freaking annoying that I can't continue on to the mission without finishing this bugged tutorial.

Re: Rise of Flight, WW1 sim...
I've played all the tutorials without incident, and watch a lot of comments at SimHQ about this game... and besides the usual gameplay complaints for the most part the game is bug free... so it must be a user error or mistake... are you sure your diving or climbing right and going into the circle on the green side, not red?
The only issue I had with the tutorials was the bombing, it took me about 50 tries, lol.Magnum

Re: Rise of Flight, WW1 sim...
I agree that it would seem to be user error, particularly when you consider the fact that google doesn't return any references to anyone else having a similar bug. However, I have done everything I know how to get that checkpoint to register for me. There is no doubt I'm actually flying through the thing--I flew through the previous 8 or so without any problems, over and over and over. I can get 3-4 tries each time on that one before the mission cancels and I've tried the mission 7 times or so. Which means, I've attempted the thing at least 21 times. I've tried it at maximum speed, at minimum speed, climbing, diving, stalling, upside down. The only other thing I can think of to try is just to assume the checkpoint is registering and land to see if the mission will end successfully.

Re: Rise of Flight, WW1 sim...
well which training is it... i know their was one that you had to come out of one circle real high then dive then go into the other one... then also another one where you had to maintain a very slow then stall then recover circle to circle...
Let me know and I'll try and help...
BTW, I know you WANT to do all the tutorials but really... it's a WW1 flight sim, it's easy, lol... no radar or lock ons or whatever, lol... just go attack some enemy balloons and learn on the job.

The latest patch has improved this title drastically.
Anybody still fly ?

Re: Rise of Flight, WW1 sim...
When do y'all play usually? I played most of the tutorials yesterday and they were easy enough once I figured out how to set the dead zone on my joystick. Trying to fly a flimsy, twitchy airplane like that when your joystick is feeding it ghost inputs is a real ride. lol

I try to fly every night with my squadron. We are either on the corsair japan server or the us syndicate

Re: Rise of Flight, WW1 sim...
alrighty then I'll try to get on tonight probably. I flew online yesterday but it feels almost exactly like IL2 where there's this idea that nobody should kill-steal ever so I'm always hanging back and being a wing man for people while they go in for the kill yet whenever I have an enemy in my sights, despite engaging when I was the only allied around for miles, someone comes out of nowhere to shoulder-fire me.
