Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
Yea I just bought it. I actually beta tested IL-2 a LONG time ago. It was an old school beta, where they shipped me the CDs. I got a free copy, but have long since lost it.
It is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9/NIV

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
I propose we set up an official time so that we might have weekly fly nights again. Mondays and Thursdays work well for me, how about you guys?

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
Really varies. Usually any weekday is OK for me save for Wednesday but with the caveat that any evening entertainment can be supplanted by work - just got back from Houston an hour ago and this coming Thursday I will be returning from Mexico. Next week is wide open...

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
I propose Thursday nights again. I won't be able to join up til after 8:30PM (Eastern). I do have my hosting issues resolved.
Also, sorry about last night. We had thunderstorms roll in and knock out power.

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
OK, I am good with that - now will be in town Thursday. Should be in town next week too, but beyond that no promises. 8.30 or 7.30 for a general start time? I should be able to host stuff on this machine (the laptop) but I will say I don't have any exciting missions... any recommendations welcome.

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
Barn, you can host if you'd like, or I can as well. I too don't have but a few of good missions. I'll see what I can find for us.
If anyone has any missions that they've created or found feel free to post up and we'll run em.
Frag and Grunt, the more the merrier! Can't wait to see you guys up in the air!

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
I'll be hanging in the TG-22nd Squad TS channel at the appointed time. Just drop in and get me or I'll look around to see where you are at.
Any chance we can fly an interceptor mission against enemy bombers...or defend friendly bombers from enemy fighters as they fly a bombing missioin.
I haven't a clue as to what's out there for missions and I'm wondering if it's mostly limited to player vs. player in dogfights or....I guess I'll find out soon.|TG-1st|Grunt

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
Missions are pretty much limited to your imagination. Everything from bomber intercepts, to train busting, to the much dreaded flight of the Storchs (you'll find out soon enough), and everything in between.

Re: IL2:1946 starting anew,
Last night was awesome guys. We ran a dogfight mission and several co-op missions.
In addition, Grunt got to see the almighty Storch's in action.
Good times.
I'll post here soon the link for some other missions for offline play.
