    Lock On Skins

Can we start a link thread here for decent skins? I've been looking at some and whilst there are some pretty good A10 one's, so far F15's seem very lacking (i.e. they just have a symbol or two but in essence that same grey/silver colour).

Also if anyone finds any tutorials on skinning then please post the here to as I would really love to design some F15 skins.

    Thanks,

    J.

Here you go amigo, it's not much, but at least it's a start. I think you'll like the F-15 skin on the 2nd page (just a hunch) :

    More skins, primarily F-15.

Anyone know where the zipped skin files get extracted to? I checked the readme that came with the files, and it was only a description of the skin. LOMAC does not seem to have "skins" folder, and I wasn't able to find the folder where the standard skins are. Anyone have any luck?

I don't really know where the skins go. They might be compatible with LOMAN. It works a lot like OFP Manager. You just tell it to activate whatever add-ons and it does it.

You're right (as usual I guess ) Sarc, I downloaded LoMan v2.0 from some site, and it takes care of all the zip files, and extracts them into proper LOMAC directories. I'm not 100% certain, but I think I read that in order for a 3rd party to see your skins, they actually need to have the same files installed. I hope this isn't the case.

This site also has some good A-10 and F-15 skins.

Jex, I found what seems to be an excellent tutorial on skinning. Check it out.
